Are you a hunter, hiker, camper or do you just love the outdoors and to travel? Join us then for this offering of our Wilderness First Aid Course.
The Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course will help you prepare for the unexpected. This fast paced, hands-on training is designed to meet the needs of outdoor enthusiasts and individuals working in remote locations. It will introduce you to caring for people who become ill or injured far from any medical care. Classroom lectures and demonstrations are combined with realistic scenarios At the end of the course, you’ll have the knowledge, skills and ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations when in the back country. This is a two day and 16 hour training course!
This edition will be primitive and along the Midstate Trail area. We will hike approximately 4-5 hours per day as part of the course. Classes will be taught during breaks and at scheduled times along the trail. You are encouraged to camp with us at the designated campsite. The evening of the class we will have a small cook out for participants. The cook out meal is include din the course fee.
