We’ve all had that patient who “definitely doesn’t need an ambulance” — and the challenge of making sure their refusal is both safe for them and for us. That’s why we’re hosting a training session you won’t want to miss:

This session will cover:

  • How to confidently assess a patient’s decision-making capacity

  • The do’s and don’ts of refusal documentation

  • Communication strategies that protect both patient safety and your license

  • Real-world scenarios you’ll instantly recognize (and learn from!)

SRTC CEU Night Policies

Registration Policy: 

We’re excited to offer free continuing education opportunities for our EMS community! To help us keep these sessions running smoothly and ensure that everyone gets the most out of them, please review our registration policy:

Advance Registration Required
All participants must register ahead of time using the provided registration link. This ensures we have accurate attendance numbers, can prepare CEU certificates, and provide any course materials.

Attendance Confirmation
Registrations are first-come, first-served. Once you register, you’ll receive a confirmation email with course details. Please use the same name and email address for registration and attendance to ensure proper CEU credit.

CEU Credit Eligibility:

  • To receive CEU credit, participants must attend the full session.
  • A post-session survey or quiz (if required) must be completed within the given deadline.
  • Certificates will be issued electronically after completion of requirements.

Cancellations & No-Shows
If you can no longer attend, please cancel your registration as soon as possible so another provider may take your spot. Repeated no-shows may impact your ability to register for future free CEU events.
