The Advanced EMT Test Prep and Remediation Program is a focused, instructor-led program designed to help Advanced EMT students strengthen their knowledge, improve exam readiness, and build confidence before attempting or retaking the Advanced EMT cognitive examination. This program is ideal for students who need additional support, structured remediation, or a guided review of the major AEMT content areas.

Delivered through live Zoom instruction, this course provides an interactive learning environment where students can review high-yield AEMT topics, ask questions, work through challenging concepts, and develop stronger test-taking strategies. The program focuses on reinforcing core AEMT principles, improving clinical decision-making, identifying common testing pitfalls, and helping students better understand how to approach scenario-based questions.

Course content may include airway and ventilation, patient assessment, medical emergencies, trauma emergencies, cardiology, pharmacology, IV therapy, shock management, special populations, EMS operations, and other key areas commonly evaluated in Advanced EMT testing. The program emphasizes the connection between classroom knowledge, field application, and exam performance.

This program has been proven to help students succeed by providing structure, accountability, targeted review, and guided remediation in the areas where students often struggle most. Rather than simply reviewing facts, the course helps students apply knowledge to realistic patient care scenarios and develop the critical thinking skills needed for both testing and field performance.

Students will be required to complete assigned testing through Platinum Planner EMS Testing access. These assessments will be used to evaluate student progress, identify knowledge gaps, guide remediation, and measure readiness throughout the program. Testing is an essential part of the course and allows instructors to provide meaningful support based on each student’s performance.

Attendance is required for all scheduled class dates. Because this program is built around live instruction, active participation, guided review, and progressive testing, students must attend every scheduled session to successfully complete the program. However, attendance alone does not guarantee success. Students are expected to study independently between sessions, review assigned material, complete all testing requirements, and take personal responsibility for their preparation.

The Advanced EMT Test Prep and Remediation Program provides students with a clear path forward, focused instruction, and the tools needed to approach their examination with greater confidence, stronger knowledge, and better preparation.

Course fee include Platinum Planner EMS Testing access required for the course.
