SRTC CONED NIGHT: Altitude Emergencies

This course provides an overview of the recognition, assessment, and management of common altitude-related illnesses, including Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), High-Altitude Cerebral Edema (HACE), and High-Altitude Pulmonary Edema (HAPE). Students will explore risk factors, signs and symptoms, prevention strategies, field treatment priorities, and evacuation considerations.
REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AT 3:00PM EST ON THE DAY OF THE CLASSES. THE CLASS REMINDER AND LOGON INFORMATION WILL BE SENT NO SOONER THAN 12:00 EST ON THE DAY OF THE COURSES.

SRTC CEU Night Policies
Registration Policy:
This CEU training is provided free of charge, so all purchases are final, refunds will not be issued, and no store credit will be provided for the $0.00 registration fee. Pre-registration is required to ensure participants receive session access information, updates, and any follow-up materials after the training. Participants who do not register in advance may not receive access to the session recording, certificates, or post-course communication.
CEU Completion Policy
To receive a certificate of CEU completion, participants must be present for the course and submit the required course survey after the session. Certificates will only be issued once attendance has been verified and the completed survey has been received. Certificates may be submitted to the NREMT for full credit, and any state-level credit should be submitted through the appropriate state CONED by endorsement process. If additional documentation is needed, participants should reach out for assistance.
SRTC Student Agreements: (Including Assumption of Risks and Agreement of Release of Indemnity)
A Sergeant Rescue course student agreement will be included as part of your registration and is required for completion of registration. Please sign it and read it carefully as it affects your legal rights. If you are a minor, a parent or guardian must sign the document as well. Without a signed document, you cannot participate in the course. SRTC course participants, including minors, will have unsupervised free time throughout the above mentioned course / exam. Any activities during the free time are not part of the SRTC program or proctored exam, and are at the sole risk of the participant.
